Concert: Seigmen (Supp.: Dunderbeist, Sørgekåpe)

Audience: Approx. 2000

Seigmen has always been my favourite band singing in Norwegian. Granted, their previous album (Radiowaves) was in English, and Metropolis (the album before Radiowaves) was also released as an English Edition (Grandmaster Recordings). However, their main language, and most popular songs has Norwegian lyrics.

I became a fan of these guys back in 1994 when the Hjernen er alene EP was released. Didn’t give it much thought or listening at first, but it amounted to be the band I’ve liked the most, who are singing in Norwegian that is.

I have been to more concerts with these guys than I can count, and have no overview of how many it has been really. Within one week, while studying, I went to three concerts with them even. Good times! 🙂 I guess I’ve attended between 30-40 concerts since the 90s.

After Radiowaves was released and a tour they went on a long hiatus, with just a few reunion concerts, until they released a new album in 2015. Here’s a recording I made from their first official concert after they started up again. It’s the entire intro, and then some excerpts from throughout the concert.

I bought a bunch of stuff there too:

  • T-shirt
  • Live DVD (signed)
  • Necklace with the logo. It wasn’t cheap! 😉
