All the pigs lined up!

I upload replays to WoTreplays.eu every now and then. They can be downloaded and run in WoT, which of course requires you to have the game installed. You can also just follow the link below and see a bunch of details, and figure out how I did.

I don’t always upload replays with massive XP or kills or something like that, but sometimes there can be like a scene or a nice episode in the battle that I wanted to share. I will mention that in the description for the replay, and also here.

In this battle I was almost sure it was lost, but I managed to frag 3 tanks in a row and turned the table a bit. There was still two arty and a nasty IS tank left, so I was still in a pickle after my last teammate was destroyed.

Timer expired, however, so it was a victory for my team. Very lucky, since this map is really hard to defend in this mode with so much artillery on the enemy team.

9-frags with my Jagdpanther

Finally I got a really nice battle with this tank. I’ve always considered the Jagdpanther to be my main tank ever since I purchased it a long time ago. Therefore, it’s nice to share a replay with a bunch of frags, medals and what not.

I started by camping southwest, but after a tiny while I saw two more camping there, and no one to spot the western side. So, I had to move and managed to give the enemies some serious trouble. I was too excited to hit the next to last tank – and I got a little cocky with the very last one… but it went well. 🙂

The replay can be downloaded from this link, and/or there are more details there as well:

Battle 3921488

Update 23.11.: I even got the Wot Replay Machine to make a video easily viewable on YouTube:

My new Tier 10s in World of Tanks

So, I have decided to maybe put most of my “news things” here on my website instead of having it spread out on social media platforms so much.

I will continue to post random pictures and stuff on both Facebook and Instagram I guess, but certain things will be mainly done here at korp.no.

One thing I will start posting here are gaming related posts. I’ve had a break from World of Tanks, but started playing it a bit a again a couple of weeks ago. I was lucky the conversion-to-free-xp-ratio was buffed during this time, so I converted what I had (and played a little bit) and now I have two more Tier 10 tanks. Open-mouthed smile

These are the two new ones:

WoT-Germany-T10-Pz.Kpfw. VIIWoT-Germany-T10-Pz.Kpfw.-Characteristics

WoT-Germany-T10-Rhm. PzwWoT-Germany-T10-Rhm. Pzw.-Characteristics

Here they are on the techtree, and it also shows my other Tier 10 tanks:

WoT-Germany-Techtree-7 tier 10 tanks

A while back I only needed two Tier 10s to complete the German techtree, but Wargaming did some changes so there are more tanks now. I’m back at needing two now though. Winking smile

Some upgrades and a little snafu

Upgrading to HTTPS is something I’ve wanted to check out for some time now, and I happened to get a newsletter from my ISP today, where they described it as a very simple thing to do. Ahead to the adminpage I went and indeed, it was very easy, and just an hour or so wait until the DNS and everything was updated. Open-mouthed smile

Unfortunately I managed to reset the blog (WordPress), so there will be some fixing-up in the coming week or so. Thankfully I did take a backup, so all the information and links are back already. Smile

I might use the default theme since it looks so much better than the last time I looked at it.

I may also remove some posts, due to images being gone, but I will try to fix some of them as well, since this blog (how little it may be) carry a historic significance for me.

Va-vooom! My current dl/ul speed

After I upgraded to fiber and the ISP got their shit together, it has been a blast really. Now we have changed the WiFi Router as well, and that seem to have really done the trick on our internal network.

Just to humour myself I did a speedtest, and it has increased a tad from the last time I did it. Regardless, it’s pretty fast! 🙂

Concert: Raga Rockers

Audience: Approx. 1000

Venue: Jessheim Torg, Jessheim, Ullensaker, Norway

Support: Splitter Pine, Fat Fred and the Possumhunters

A couple of years ago I was crowdfunding “Sannhet på boks”, a boxset where all the songs by Raga Rockers were covered by known and unknown Norwegian bands and artists. I also got a ticket for the release show of the boxset, and it would’ve been my chance to see Raga Rockers (among others) live for the first time ever.

However, that’s not how it went down. I somehow managed to get sick (yet again around that time of my life), and had to skip the concert. So, when I saw they were coming to my homecity I just had to go watch them…

It happened last Saturday (August 12th), and it was a really good concert despite really heavy rain. Some impressions and sounds can be heard and seen in the video below. I was kinda cold, slightly drunk, and I was really into the music, so my cam is even more shaky than usual. Open-mouthed smile The heavy rainy weather can be easily seen in the last part of the video, which contain excerpts of the three bands that had concerts that evening. I would’ve filmed more Raga Rockers if it wasn’t for the poor weather.

Oh, and by the way – the boxset “Sannhet på boks” is really damn good, and I still enjoy plenty of songs from it occasionally. Smile

Scrobbling on last.fm again

So, after quiet some time, I’m finally back to scrobbling on last.fm. I’ve been gone mostly due to the changes they did there, it was very messy for some time.

I’ve installed it on my Desktop PC and Kodi (nVidia Shield), but the one on Kodi is not working it seems.

I’ve, officially, had last.fm since 2007, and below are my yearly scrobbles since I started.

Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven read by Neil Gaiman

This is a small poem by Edgar Allan Poe, and it’s read by none other than Neil Gaiman.

This poem has always been a favourite of mine, and is partially the reason for the name of this site –  and also for a tattoo I got. The setting in the video is very nice, and is very fitting for the winter solstice.

God jul!

Concert: Katatonia

Audience: Approx. 600

This is Katatonia’s Dead Letters, from the album Dead End Kings that they performed at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen, Denmark on October 26th, 2016. An awesome song, but the concert wasn’t all too good for me. I was standing far in the back, so it’s very noisy and people were talking like crazy.

I was standing in the back because I wasn’t feeling well at this concert. Was ridden by a cold that has lasted for two weeks. It seem to finally have lost it’s grip completely today though. Yay! 😀 Because of the cold I had to leave the concert rather early, which is something I rarely do. If I leave a concert early it’s only to catch a train or something.

Don’t remember who the support bands were, but there were two of them, and I didn’t see any of them.
